Let the games begin!

Well....it was bound to happen.

I've had all kinds of people find my blog by googling "crazy socks". Today someone found my blog by googling "how to make crazy socks". I decided to investigate. Google has me number one on the list.....sniff sniff....I feel so honoured.

I investigate even further.

There is a contest for making crazy socks using leftover sock yarn. WOOHOO....first place here I come!!!!

I know what you are thinking. Does she really NEED a reason to start another pair of socks? No, but the possibility of knitterly prizes is enough to get even the most mild manner knitter salivating.

I know that I've corrupted enough of you with the thing called crazy socks. Here's the website so that you can all join me. The contest closes on March 25th...get those needles moving.

Until next time
Yours in Yarn,
The Fibreholic

I have to worst time leaving you a comment. I keep getting an hour glass. Anyway, I love your crazy socks and hope you win the contest.
I just read your comment on my blog, and beware. If you start cross stitching, it is very addicting. I only stopped to knit the preemie sweater and right back on it. LOL.

Oooh, congrats on the top ranking for insane socks! I'm a slow sock knitter, so the deadline is a bit *too* insane for me, but maybe next year...! Good luck!

While I really like the idea of the crazy socks, I don't think I have enough leftover sock yarn...yet. Now that I've joined yet another sock club, I should have plenty in time for next year's contest.

Oh, I love your crazy socks - I'm on my third pair, and also made a pair of mittens (not out of sock yarn, though, obviously) that I love, love, love. Weaving in the ends isn't the most fun.... but the socks are so darn cute it's worth it!
