Wish me Luck

My health hasn't been great, as of late. Just when I thought that I was getting over something, I take a turn for the worse.

However.....there are a few things coming up that could make me feel better. Remember the crazy sock contest? I've entered. I made a pair of my crazy socks, but this time I went a step further. In my original how-to posting about crazy socks, I also gave the link for the Rainbow sock pattern. Mad Mad commented that I should combine the two methods and that is what I did. After they announce the winners, I'll post a picture of my entry.

Now if contest with a yarny type prize isn't enough to raise my spirits......listen to this. A local radio station, Majic 100 fm is holding a $15,000 Broyhill furniture Family Room Makeover contest. The winner not only gets $15,000 of the most incredible furniture but a $4,000 home movie package from the Audio Shop.

This Saturday they are holding the Give Away party for the 30 families picked from those who entered online and the 20 families who entered at Broyhill. If you haven't guessed by name was one of the 30 picked by the radio station.

I realize that I haven't won anything yet......but I've already beaten the odds just by having my name picked to go to the give away party. Cross your fingers and toes for me...(just as long as it doesn't interfere with your knitting)

Until next time
Yours in Yarn,
the Fibreholic

It sounds as though this is quite a wonderful month for you! My toes are crossed as I am not currently knitting with them. :) Best of luck to you!

Good luck with the furniture thing, although, as you know, the honor is just in being nominated. :-) Of course that doesn't really get your rear end a comfy place to sit, so here's hoping you win!

Wow, I hope you win BOTH contests.
You certainly should win the socks, your knitting is wonderful.
I hope we hear good news very soon.
