I have learnt a valuable lesson this summer and I felt that I must share it with everyone. DO NOT and I mean NEVER EVER sit on a cracked toilet seat.
While I was not physically hurt, my pride was mortally wounded.
DD: What was that big cracking sound in the bathroom?
ME: Me and what is left of my dignity have to leave now!!!
On a much happier note
I got a call at work yesterday from a woman who was visiting the Ottawa area for the summer. She lives in (are you ready for this?) of all places....Canberra. Silly me didn't get her name but she knows of the SnB Canberra and knows many of you ladies. She was born in Canada and a few years ago had the opportunity to move to Aus.....lucky woman......How "it's a small world after all" is that?
It's a rainy Tuesday and I'm being overwhelmed by WIPs so I'd better wrap up and get to work.
Until next time
Yours in Yarn,
The Fibreholic

Ouch! (I've been pinched by one before. Does that count?)
Yikes - that makes the eyes water.
Ah, a lovely small-world story...all roads lead to Ottowa!
I'll remember that valuable lif lesson!
lol...I have a toilet that isn't well secured so it slides to one side when you sit on it. Makes me feel like a diet is in order every single time.
On the other hand...who need dignity when it gives your audience a smile for the day?! Your sacrifice is appreciated!
